Without a doubt some of the best pheasant hunting in the world is found in south central South Dakota near the community of Winner, also  known as the "Pheasant Capital of the World."  This region of the country provides a wealth of  opportunity for those looking for a world-class pheasant hunting experience.  With premiere habitat including all types of food plots, native grasses, CRP plots, and shelter belts, our hunting areas produce and attract enormous numbers of WILD pheasants. 2007 Pheasant season was rated the best since the "soil bank days of the 1960's". Most hunters filled their limit with ease.  We continue to see hundreds of hen pheasants in our areas which should make the 2008 season another great year.
